Rules and Regulations

 

The Tournament Host agrees with the Lacombe Golf & Country Club to comply with and be bound by the following conditions, policies, and procedures.

 

Deposit & Payment Information

Tournaments will be confirmed only by receipt of deposit. A five hundred dollar ($500.00) deposit is required at time of booking to guarantee your tournament date. Such deposit will be applied to your final bill. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

 

All prices in this tournament package are subject to gratuity.

 

You will be invoiced following your event for your tournament balance. Payment is due on receipt of invoice and payment may be made by cheque or credit card. Interest will be charged at 2% per month (24% per annum) on all overdue balances. Overdue balances are defined as any outstanding balance after 30 receipt of invoice.

Golf Course

Power Carts are included in the tournament package. If you require any additional Power Carts for tournament organizers, photographers, etc., please reserve extra carts at time of booking. Additional carts are subject to availability.  Additional carts are billed out at the regular rate.

 

The Lacombe Golf & Country Club has a 52 Cart Fleet.  Any tournaments requiring additional carts will be charged the rental rate for these additional power carts.

 

All participants must abide by the cart rules and regulations.  These include keeping the power carts away from all tee boxes and greens, keeping the power carts on the path at all times on Par 3’s, and follow directional signage on the golf course. Course Marshals have sole authority on the golf course. Please obey all instructions and/or requests.

 

In the case of inclement weather, tournaments must play as scheduled unless the golf course is deemed unplayable by the Golf Course Manager or Superintendent. In the event of such an occurrence the tournament will be given, wherever possible, alternative days of play.

 

All players must have their own set of golf clubs. Full sets of clubs are available for rental from the Pro Shop.

 

All players and volunteers must comply with the Lacombe Golf & CC dress code. Proper golf attire is required. Tailored, clean, denim pants are allowed. No short shorts, no halter or tube tops, no spaghetti straps, no sweat pants. Lacombe G & CC is a soft spike facility (no metal spikes).

 

Hole Sponsors must arrive no later than one (1) hour prior to tee off. Sponsors arriving less than one (1) hour prior to tee off may have to wait until after tee off to go out to their designated location.

 

The Lacombe Golf & CC is not responsible for any misplaced or damaged signage. Please have all signage picked up within 24 hours of your tournament.

The Tournament Host is responsible for the actions of its participants and will indemnify and save harmless the Lacombe Golf and CC from all losses, damages, and claims whatsoever which the Lacombe Golf & CC suffers or incurs as a result of any act, neglect or omission of the tournament participants.

The Lacombe Golf & CC shall not be responsible for any loss or injury suffered or incurred by any tournament participant unless such loss or injury is caused by the negligence or wrongful act of the Lacombe Golf & CC or its employees.

Tournament participants are responsible for any damage caused to personal residences adjacent to the golf course and to vehicles travelling adjacent to the 9th hole. In the event that a participant has damaged property and neglects to inform the tournament organizer or the Lacombe Golf & CC, the tournament will be responsible for all costs associated with the damage.

Guarantees

 

The maximum number of players must be conveyed to the Lacombe Golf & CC at time of booking.

 

The deadline for any changes to the confirmed number of players and power carts is Three (3) Business Days prior to your tournament. If these changes are not a conveyed to the Lacombe Golf & CC Three (3 Business days)  prior to the tournament, then the original number or the actual number of players becomes your guarantee (whichever is greater) and charges will be based on such numbers.

 

The foursome list must be received by the Lacombe Golf & CC two (2) business day’s prior tournament.

 

The Lacombe Golf & Country Club reserves the right to alter starting times or format should the number of players differ greatly from the original booking.

 

Food & Beverage

 

Food Service is required for all tournaments

 

The menu selection must be conveyed to the Lacombe Golf & CC at least three (3) weeks prior to your tournament. Changes to the number of persons must be conveyed to the Lacombe Golf & CC Three (3) Business Days prior to the tournament date. This includes those persons who will be joining the group for the meal only. Minimum charges will be based on the number of persons confirmed at such time.

 

All food & beverage services are subject to GST.

 

Food & beverage prices are subject to change without notice.

 

All food & beverage items consumed at Lacombe Golf & CC must be purchased

from Lacombe Golf & CC.

 

The Lacombe Golf & CC prohibits the removal of food & beverage items from the Lacombe Golf & C following your tournament.

 

It is the policy of the Lacombe Golf & CC to serve alcoholic beverages in a responsible and professional manner at all times. We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as they pertain to the service of alcohol to under age or visibly intoxicated persons. Hours of service for alcoholic beverages are 10:00 am to 1:00 am.

 

 

Alcoholic beverages may be purchased from our lounge, beverage carts or stationary beverage holes. The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission regulations will be strictly enforced. Unauthorized alcohol will be confiscated.

 

Sponsors for Stationary beverage holes must purchase all alcohol from Lacombe Golf and CC. Lacombe Golf & CC food and beverage staff must be present at stationary holes to serve alcoholic beverages to customers for the duration of the event. All arrangements for these purchases and any other supplies must be completed three business days prior to the event.

 

The Lacombe Golf & CC clubhouse is a smoke free environment.
