Situated conveniently between Edmonton and Calgary, the Lacombe Golf and Country Club is not only a great location but one of the most challenging courses in the Central Alberta region. We are a full service facility that can cater to any of your needs. Our professional staff has over 40 years experience in hosting golf-related events ranging from 8 to 200 people.
The Lacombe Golf and Country Club has a long and colorful history, forming in 1919 as a nine-hole sand green layout. The club was incorporated in 1925 as a joint stock company. The course expanded to 18 holes in 1959, and throughout the late 60’s all of the greens and tee boxes were rebuilt and converted to grass. Today, the Lacombe Golf and Country Club is a semi-private club, which enjoys an active membership and welcomes tournament and green fee play.
This par 71 course is traditional in layout with many large old trees making accuracy a premium. Making your round all the more memorable are the undulating greens that have been rated as some of the best in Alberta. Our facility also features a driving range and a practice green to warm up before your round.
The modern clubhouse features a spacious banquet area seating up to 200 people. Our recently expanded patio allows golfers to unwind after a day on the links and to enjoy the beautiful vistas this parkland area has to offer. We provide a number of different food & beverage options, which you will find outlined in more detail on the following pages.
The Lacombe Golf & Country Club also offers a fully stocked Pro Shop, with a great selection of quality merchandise at competitive prices. Canadian P.G.A. Professional staff members are available for service and advice as well as renowned instructional programs and clinics. Our Pro Shop staff can recommend customized merchandise utilizing your company or tournament logo, once again at great prices! Our pro shop would welcome the opportunity to provide your tournament with a quote for these services.
